What does your life rhythm look like? Feel like? Move like? Sound like?

No matter the age or ability, the more whole foods you eat, quality relationships you surround yourself with, and pleasurable work and hobbies you spend your time on, the more your life will be filled with better energy, focus, and drive.

Occupational therapy is about assisting someone to reach their most functional level in any area of life. Pediatric occupational therapy does this by encouraging and empowering children to explore what functional activities will best build skills for increasing movement toward initiation of independence.

Our body performs its best when it is healthy, when we are moving it around on a regular basis, finding intentional quiet time, and exploring our personal goals of life. A child’s job is to learn and build skills using play and exploration, while utilizing interactions with others to learn about emotions, social skills, problem solving and higher-level executive function skills. Whole foods help support these endeavors as well as the immune system and the learning process. These foods support our body at a cellular level to feed the brain, muscles, bones, intestines and all other organs and body systems.
